Friends of the Library - How can I join?

How can you join?
It's easy to get involved with your local friends group--just visit your closest library branch and ask any employee for more information. Annual memberships are available for as little as a $15 contribution. Though signing up and donating funds is one way to be a friend, it's only the beginning of you you can be involved in helping your libraries. The Friends host book sales and other special events, serve as library advocates to governing authorities, volunteer their time and energy to help out with library projects, and help plan and discover new ways that the library can better serve the community.

Serving Cherokee, Gilmer, and Pickens Counties
Each county in the Sequoyah Regional Library System has a dedicated group of friends who work to raise funds, volunteer, and increase awareness for that particular county's interests. Though the friends often come together for larger projects (such as speaking out to state legislators on Georgia's library legislative day) working as three separate groups allows each friends coalition to best serve their local community and its specific needs.

Sign up to be a Friends member, and join us in giving back to the community today!
