    Join the Gilmer County Genealogy Society as we welcome Dr. John Kay, who is speaking on the life and work of Byron Herbert Reece (1917-1958). Reece authored four books, was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize, and earned two Guggenheim Awards. Dr. Kay is President Emeritus and founding chairman of the Byron Herbert Reece Society and has worked tirelessly to preserve the legacy and Blairsville farm of the poet and author. Refreshments are provided at 1:30 PM.
