    The Cherokee County Health Department will be providing an on-site flu shot clinic at the R.T. Jones Memorial Library. This flu shot clinic will provide a $25 4-in-1 Quadrivalent Flu Vaccine (for ages 12 and older) and a $65 Fluzone High Dose Vaccine (for ages 65 and older). Cash, check, and credit are accepted, as well as insurance with Medicare, Medicaid, Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Coventry, Humana, and United Healthcare.

This “loving celebration of a mother by a son” (The New York Times) is his account of the two years she struggled with pancreatic cancer that led to her death at 75. The “book club” evolved as Will and his mother, Mary Anne, sat in the waiting room before treatments at Sloan-Kettering Memorial Cancer Center and discussed books they agreed to read.
