ABCmouse.com helps kids learn to read through phonics, and teaches lessons in math, social studies, art, music, and much more. For kids age 2 to Kindergarten.
AWE Learning Technology can be found in all of our libraries. AWE Learning is inspiring discovery by immersing children in a rich environment with engaging content through reliable, easy-to-use technology.
The Library of Things is a collection of non-traditional library items that complement the Sequoyah Regional Library System ’s mission to connect people with ideas and opportunities to explore, learn and create. The purpose of the Library of Things is to provide diverse opportunities for learning and engagement.
Public Computers and Printing
Using your student ID, you have access to desktop computers and tablets. Printing is also available.
The Sequoyah Regional Library System in partnership with the Master Gardeners in Cherokee & Gilmer Counties offer seed libraries at the following branches:
Rose Creek Public Library, Hickory Flat Public Library, Ball Ground Public Library and Gilmer County Library.
Wireless Access (Free Wi-Fi)
Internet access is available in all of our buildings and can be accessed from the parking lot. No password needed.
From Home or School
A to Z World Culture is the most comprehensive country-by-country culture resource database available on the educational market today.
Provides popular audiobooks, eBooks, music, and videos available for users to download.
eRead Kids collection offers more than 15,000 ebooks and eaudiobooks for children in Pre-K through 4th grade. Free access is available with your library card!
Galileo Georgia Library Learning Online, more commonly known as GALILEO, is a virtual library operated by the University System of Georgia. There are numerous databases available, including abstracts and full-text. The Digital Library of Georgia is also part of the GALILEO system.
Galileo-will need Galileo Password. Contact your local library branch to get your Galileo Password.
Explora for Elementary is EBSCO’s interface designed for elementary students. Students can browse topics of interest or search for a topic of their choice. Search results can be limited to source type (e.g., magazines, news, biographies, etc.) or by Lexile range.Explora-Galileo-will need Galileo Password.
