Animal-lovers and book-lovers come together for Sequoyah Regional Library System’s 2021 Summer Reading Program, Tails & Tales. Swing by your local library in June and July to participate in a jungle-sized celebration of no-cost programming featuring a visit from Zoo Atlanta and Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park, special storytimes, and a chance to meet exotic animals and birds up close. Explore for the full schedule, or pick up your very own summer reading program guide at the library. Mark your calendars so you don’t miss a single event!

How Does It Work?

Your summer reading quest takes place on Beanstack, a free online portal that offers book and activity logging, recommendations, and reviews. Beanstack includes tools to help you and your family discover books, keep track of your reading, and set reading goals. Log your reading minutes to earn badges, participate in bonus challenges for extra rewards, and post reviews of titles for other adventurers to read! Beanstack can be accessed by visiting  our official SRLS webpage or downloading the app available for iOS and Android. The SRLS Beanstack webpage will become active once the Summer Reading Program begins; please continue to check back.

Have you been putting off visiting your library because of fines?

Sequoyah Regional Library System is going fine-free to celebrate the 2021 Summer Reading Program. From the beginning of June through the end of July, items returned to the library will not have overdue fines! Some fines may be excluded. Ask library staff for details.
